Sesame Street® “My World is Green and Growing“ Kit
Children are natural explorers. Early experiences with nature help tap into that innate curiosity and provide opportunities to be physically active and learn about science. The more children learn to enjoy nature, the more likely they are to develop a sense of respect for the environment – and care for it too.
Sesame Street® My World is Green and Growing is a bilingual environmental education initiative developed by Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit organization behind Sesame Street®. This kit was developed in partnership with PNC Grow Up Great and was designed to promote exploration and investigation of the natural world. Available in English and Spanish, the My World is Green and Growing kit provides useful tips and activities to help young children and grown-ups explore the natural environment by using everyday moments as great learning opportunities.
