Every child has the potential to do something great. Whether your child wants to be a pilot, an astronaut or perhaps a doctor, their path to success begins long before they enter a classroom. That’s because children who arrive at kindergarten ready for school are more eager to learn and try new things, and they get along better with their classmates. They have higher self-esteem and they are more confident. Plus, they are more likely to finish school, attend college, succeed in the workplace, and be involved in their community.
Everyday, ordinary moments can be used to help prepare children for school and, ultimately, for life. Learning with enthusiasm begins with parents and caregivers as a child’s very first teachers. So help a child learn, and remember–make it fun!
